Cruise News! (10/15/02).

        The Hawaiian Square Dance Cruise has come and gone. Altogether we had eight squares on the trip, and I think it is safe for me to say we all had a wonderful time.

        I'd like to thank the other callers, Ben Goldberg and Don Wood, and our cuer, Dennis Crapo, for all their efforts to make the cruise a big success. I'd also like to thank Dick and Becky Waible of Inspiration Cruises for planning and executing the whole thing so beautifully. We had a number of issues come up during the cruise, but Dick and Becky were on top of everything, and they smoothed the way for us so deftly that most of our group were never aware there had been a problem.

        My wife Kami has become something of a shutterbug, with her new digital camera. She took more than 500 pictures during our 12 days of cruising. I am not going to attempt to put them all up on the web-site, but I have arranged a short photo album of some of the best shots here.

        PMDO Records and Lou-Mac Records are combining forces to put on a 12 day Hawaiian Square Dance Cruise!!

        Callers for the cruise will be Scott Zinser (Desert), Don Wood (Lou Mac), Brian Shannon (Desert), Ben Goldberg (Ocean), and our cuer will be Dennis Crapo (Lou Mac).

        The ship will depart from Vancouver B.C., spend five days cruising to Hawaii, and then hop from island to island the remaining 7 days. At the end of the cruise you will fly home. If you would like me to send you a flyer with detailed information, just call or write me with your mailing address.
