Asusboards.com needs you. We are a group of friendly folders that have fun finding ways to compete for a common goal. That common goal is to assist to the science community. The science community is working on folding protein to assist with finding a cure for diseases like Alzheimer's, Mad Cow (BSE), CJD, ALS, and Parkinson's disease. |

| Since AsusBoards members have done so much on their web site, I don't want to post to much information that is readily available on their board. What I want to provide is information regarding the sub-teams within AsusBoards.com.
It can get discouraging to try to assist with folding only to see that you have contributed only a few points each day. To alleviate this problem there are now sub-teams. With sub-teams you can see your team climbing up the charts with points. At AsusBoards.com you can get a great looking banner and even have "AB Folding@Home Team" under your username on the board. There are four sub-teams that you can join. |

| How to install the Folding@Home software can be found at the folding download site. Click here to download the Folding@Home software. |
| To make it easier to setup your computer, you can download the client.cfg file from the table above for the sub-team you wish to join. If you are going to use the Windows text console software then the Windows link download on the above table can be beneficial for you. Create a directory from the C: drive called 'FAH' and download the console software to that directory. Next, download the client file from this site. Then download the link file from this site to your Desktop. Click on the FAH icon that you should now have on the Desktop. That's it, you are now part of the team. Congrats and welcome to the team! :) For more help, please refer to the Distributed forum at AsusBoards.com |
