Republicans Protest Amtrak Fare Increases

The Partido Popular, Spain's conservative political party, describes public transport fare hikes as "abusive". Can you imagine a similar event in the USA? I can dream of it, sure, but I can't imagine it. US parties have converged substantially to a center position, yes, but a far more conservative center than in other countries.
