Stampeding Caribou dislodged the ice floe where I had been frozen for 71 years. I landed on the shore of Īles-de-la-Madeleine where a motel manager promptly gave me a job cleaning bathrooms. After saving tips and stealing change left by lodgers for 3 years, I paid my way to America. Seeking toilet scrubbing work in Owego, NY, I accidentally boarded a bus to Lake Oswego, OR. Now I live in Portland.
