The Daily Reckoning writes "the murder rate in London is only 2 per 100,000... compared to 70 per 100,000 in Washington, D.C. Even in Iraq, an American soldier has less of risk of getting gunned down in the streets, with a death toll averaging about 60 per 100,000 since the end of the war."
Can this be true? It's pretty rich, if so. Anyone feel like checking? I'm having some trouble believing that Iraq number since we've had over 1,500 US deaths, haven't we?
