I was just trying to remember where the freakonomics blog and thought, oh heck, i'll just google it. Then it occurred to me that another problem for Google is this kind of Heisenberg's Uncertainty Principle. Google depends on people linking to good sites, but why bother linking if you know you can find it on Google? In the endgame, might major sites drop on Google since nobody sees any need to link to them?

here you can read easily the finest liberal smackdown of a conservative I can recall. Only real hitch is the smacker is a Scottish politician. Remember when liberals were actually on the left? Yeah, I don't really, either. George Galloway goes on to perform the verbal equivalent of that Three Stooges face fluttering on Democratic Senator Carl Levin, who seems very concerned whether Galloway is "troubled" by allegations that his colleague Mr. Zureikat paid Hussein kickbacks during the oil-for-food nonsense. Quoth Galloway, "You launched an illegal war, which has killed a 100,000 people. You want me to be troubled?"

If you're reading this, you must be 1 of the 5-10 people who know me, and will find this shocking, but I find myself prodded to the Republican side on the filibuster issue. This comes from the philosophy of Mr. T, who said "enough of this jibba jabba!" With that statement, really, how can one support filibusters?
