The NUSR Ka-76V Cargo VTOL Craft
The Ka-47 was and is very good, it just was not big or fast enough. The NUSR government put their Boeing/Kamov people to work.
Without Mil, the Russian company that made most, if not all of the heavy lift helicopters the Russian Federation used. The NUSR needed something for a true heavy lift. The result the former Boeing people came up with was the 'Czar' Ka-76v. Designed as a melding of the V-19 Peregrine (Ancam design, smaller then the V-22 Ospery, was also an attack craft rather then a cargo one) and their idea of the old Mil Mi-12.
