The NUSR Ka-56
Attack Helicopter

The original update for the Ka-52 "Alligateter" was approved in 2056 (AKA OGO56 and the redesignation Ka-56). It is a "dual, coaxial design", with sets of counter rotating blades on one axle so it does not need a tail roter.

The Ka-56 has a crew of 2, sitting side-by-side. Pilot and EWO, the pilot will usually only control the copter and the canon, the EWO would control chaff, flares, and milliles.

Model Type: Ka-56 Combat Helicopter.
Class: Light Attack.
Models: OGO56, OGO92, OGO98
The only difference between the OGO56 and OGO92 is the update of the wingtip pods and model of autocannon the 56 used pre-rifts rounds, the 92 used the NUSR 'Two Stage' rounds, and the 98 used an Ion Cannon. The change from 56s to 92s was done in 2 weeks, Due to the power suply change the upgrade to 98s took 3 months.
