Chess Show Video Conferencing
Now with Video Conferencing
The Chess Show has broken new ground by introducing
Call-In Video Conferencing with
Microsoft NetMeeting.
NetMeeting callers appear live on TV to say Hi and make their chess moves.
Netmeeting
is available for FREE (Download) and is included with Microsoft internet explorer 4.0.
Check this page just before the live show, to retrieve the IP address for calling in. We will give priority to callers sending us a video picture.
Recommendations for optimal performance:
- at least a 33K modem for the connection.
- The optimal ISP to use is probably teleport.com, since that's the ISP
we will be using for the connection.
- Have your mic volume turned up fairly high and speak slowly and distinctly
- Optimal Screen resolution is 848 x 480
- configure NetMeeting to send a small picture: Tools>Options>Video>Small
NetMeeting call address number (IP format) is: ???.???.???.???
If you're using Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0, you should be able to click the above link to place the NetMeeting call
