ENCUMBRANCE

These values indicate how much a creature can lift and carry.

• NONE is casual strength with no penalties.
• LIGHT is a slight hindrance (-1), and the max one-handed overhead lift.
• MEDIUM is a moderate hindrance (-2), the max two-handed overhead lift. Move is at half speed.
• HEAVY is a major hindrance (-3), the maximum chest-level lift. Move is one-quarter speed.
• SEVERE is the maximum lift with arms fully extended. Movement is limited to staggering at 1 yard per round. This is also a severe hindrance, and you cannot really do anything else at the same time.
