Here is a player's map of the campaign region. It is located at the approximate center of the world map. This map is purposely inaccurate and vague. The location near the center marked "Misty Spire" is the covenant.

The Order of the Sun is a powerful wizard's organization in the south. The order has five strongholds, mostly located in the mountains, each of which is home to several powerful mages. One of these is Misty Spire, a tower which sits atop a remote peak near the center of the map. The Order is a very political organization, and takes an active interest in the region (to the dismay of the local nobility), and keeps a close watch on local wizards. More than one rival has been destroyed, or else been harassed into leaving.

Misty Spire lies at the edge of a large kingdom just to the south. Though the mountains are claimed by the king, nobody is very eager to try and collect taxes from a bunch of power-hungry wizards.
